My route into digital marketing didn't start in a lecture hall — it started on the shop floor. Through a formal apprenticeship as Kaufmann im E-Commerce (Certified E-Commerce Merchant) I learned from day one how online retail actually works: warehouse logic, shipping thresholds, conversion, customer service — the unglamorous daily work that ultimately decides margin. Practice before theory, no whiteboard marketing.
I later layered that operational base with a Bachelor in Management & Digitalisation. The combination — knowing what strategy looks like on a slide and what still makes sense at the warehouse at 10 pm — is exactly what makes the difference. Across nearly a decade I've worked with several mid-sized companies through this dual lens and helped scale them into 8-figure annual revenue — with clean tech setups, honest performance-marketing discipline and conversion work that actually pays back.
